How is tempered glass produced? (Technical Explanation)

The tempered glass manufacturing process used for oven and microwave panels involves:

1. Cutting and edge grinding to exact dimensions.

2. CNC machining for holes, slots, corner shaping.

3. Washing and drying to ensure clean adhesion surfaces.

4. Ceramic ink printing / Enamel firing (ink is fired into the glass layer and never falls off).

5. Heating the glass to 600–700°C inside the tempering furnace.

6. Rapid air quenching to create compressive stress on the surface.

7. A controlled stress distribution ensures safety and heat resistance.

This makes toughened glass 3–5 times stronger than regular glass and safe to use inside high-temperature cooking environments.
